The toolbar provides quick access to commonly used operations.
By default, the toolbar is attached to the menu bar at the top of the SMT window. You can relocate the toolbar to a vertical position along the left or right side of the window. Click and hold the handle on the left side of the toolbar and drag it to its new location. Drag the toolbar to the top edge or off the SMT window to convert it to a floating toolbar. Note: If the toolbar is set to display when the SMT window is open, the toolbar returns to its default location each time you run the SMT.
Use the Preferences window under the View menu to set the display option for the toolbar. Select Show Floating Toolbar option in the SMT Preferences window.
The following table describes the function of each button on the toolbar.
Button Function 
Logs off of the currently connected Configuration Server. Use the Connect menu option to reconnect. 
Shows the status of the NavisRadius Server running on the host of the currently connected Configuration Server. You can set the frequency to check to see if the NavisRadius Server is running from the SMT preferences panel. When the server is running, the button is green and red if it is not. You can force a check by clicking the button. 
Use to display Manage Servers dialog to start, stop, pause and resume the NavisRadius servers. 
Saves the changes to the active panel. If no panel is displayed, this option is not available. 
Saves the changes to all displayed panels. 
Closes the active panel. If any changes have been made to that panel, the SMT asks if you want to save the changes. 
Closes all of the displayed panels. If any changes have been made to a panel, the SMT asks if you want to save the changes. 
Displays the print dialog to print the information in the active panel. 
Abandons the changes to the active panel and reloads the file last saved. If no panel is displayed, this option is not available. 
Removes the selected text from the active panel's text area and places it on the clipboard. If the panel does not have a text area, this option is not available. 
Copies the selected text from the active panel's text area and places it on the clipboard. If the panel does not have a text area, this option is not available. 
Places the contents of the clipboard at the current cursor position in the active panel's text area. If the panel does not have a text area, this option is not available. 
Displays a dialog that allows you to search for case sensitive text in the active panel's text area. If the panel does not have a text area, this option is not available. 
Uses the existing search criteria to continue the search in the active panel's text area. If a panel does not have a text area, this option is not available. 
Displays the Server Management Tool Preferences dialog. This panel is used to configure options used in the Server Management Tool. 
Displays the NavisRadius User Guide Table of Contents. 
Displays the help for the active panel.
